Lorenzo Ianiro

Lorenzo è entrato a far parte del team ALDA come stagista nell’agosto 2024, con il ruolo di Assistente del Project Manager, per completare il suo Master di secondo livello in Progettazione Partecipata denominato “ProPart”, presso l’Università IUAV.

Ha conseguito una laurea e un master in Filosofia presso l’Università “Sapienza” di Roma, che ha unito agli studi urbanistici in seguito al suo profondo interesse per lo sviluppo della città e per i processi di formazione dello spazio dal basso. Questa passione lo ha portato a lavorare come consigliere comunale a Roma e a partecipare a diversi progetti per l’accesso al “diritto alla città”.
Credendo fortemente nell’interconnessione tra dimensione locale e globale, negli ultimi anni Lorenzo ha partecipato a diverse missioni di cooperazione in Ucraina e nei Territori Palestinesi Occupati, lavorando a progetti di empowerment delle comunità locali in stretta connessione con gli stakeholder territoriali e con ONG internazionali come Mediterranea. Collabora inoltre con diverse testate giornalistiche italiane.

Lorenzo è di madrelingua italiana, parla correntemente l’inglese e ha solide competenze comunicative in spagnolo.

Lorenzo joined the ALDA Team as an Intern in August 2024, with the role of Project Manager Assistant, to complete his second level Master’s degree in Participatory Planning named “ProPart”, at the IUAV University.

He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Philosophy at the “Sapienza” University in Rome, which he combined with Urban Studies following his deep interest in city development and bottom-up space shaping processes. This passion brought him to work as City Councillor in Rome and to participate in different projects for the access to the “right to the city”.
Strongly believing in the interconnection between local and global dimensions, in the past years Lorenzo joined different cooperation missions in Ukraine, working on local communities’ empowerment projects in close connection with the territorial stakeholders and international NGOs. He also collaborates with different Italian newspapers.

Lorenzo is a native Italian speaker, fluent in English and with solid communicative skills in Spanish.
