DESCRIPTION:From 25 September to 1 October 2025, the city of Nicosia, Cyprus, will host the Youth Social Act ( https://www.staging.alda-europe.eu/thematic-hubs/youth-empowerment-and-education/ ) – Transnational Training Workshop, bringing together 22 participants including young people and youth workers from across Europe.\nOrganised in the framework of the EU-funded Youth Social Act project, the training will follow a curriculum co-developed by the project consortium, focusing on a wide range of tools and strategies for youth engagement in democratic life at the local level.\nThe Youth Social Act ( https://youthdialogue.eu/project/youth-social-act/ ) – Transnational Training Workshop in Cyprus aims to:\n\n\nEquip participants with skills and knowledge to foster youth participation\n\n\nExplore inclusive and community-based approaches to active citizenship\n\n\nPromote peer learning and transnational exchange\n\n\nThe workshop is based on a tailored curriculum covering civic competence, youth leadership, democratic participation, and social innovation — empowering participants to become active changemakers in their communities.\nThrough interactive sessions, group work, and local engagement activities, the training will support the professional development of youth workers and young leaders, while reinforcing ALDA’s commitment to youth empowerment and education for democracy.\n📍Nicosia, Cyprus\n📆 25 September – 1 October 2025\n
